For 13 years, I’ve woken up every single day focused on keeping children safe. Through our union, we’ve raised standards and won major investments in child protection. We dramatically increased the number of social workers and investigators on the front lines. We secured new technology to assist in the field. And now, our communities truly understand how important we are to ensuring that children and families are safe. It’s disheartening to think the Supreme Court could make it hard for us to advocate for the children we protect and the families we serve. Our work is far too important.
