Jobs numbers released this morning show workers continue to suffer the negative effects of a global economy where the rules are written to keep wages low. The U.S. economy added 173,000 jobs in August and unemployment was 5.1%, down from July’s 5.3%, according to figures released this morning by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
